The Golden Rose Award was established to recognize and promote the value of young women "making a difference" in today's world, one good deed at a time. . .
The Palm Beach Diocesan Council of Catholic Women want to recognize one young lady from each parish for her outstanding skills in leadership, spirituality and service.
Each year letters and nomination forms are mailed to the Pastors and Directors of Religious Education or Youth Ministers asking them to nominate a young lady from their parish to receive this award.
Each recipient will attend a luncheon where they will be recognized for their outstanding spirituality, leadership and service to their parish. The girls will receive a golden rose, a certificate, a pin and an individual membership to the National Council of Catholic Women.
The very first Golden Rose Award Ceremony was held this year on January 14, 2023 at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie.
